Part 4: Sitecore Dynamic CRM Connector: Sync Marketing List from CRM to Sitecore

Part 4: Sitecore Dynamic CRM Connector: Sync Marketing List from CRM to Sitecore

I had a requirement that I want to sync the marketing list from CRM to Sitecore. Sitecore already has a pipeline to sync the marketing list and contact which is related to that marketing list but there are some other steps that need to do which I am going to mention in this blog because I found it difficult to find all steps in any document.

Steps:

  • Go to the CRM and create a new Marketing List.

  • Add a member to this marketing list.

  • Go to the "Dynamics Marketing Lists to xDB Reference Data Sync" pipeline from this location /sitecore/system/<Data Exchange>/<Tenant >/Pipeline Batches/Dynamics Marketing Lists to xDB Reference Data Sync and click on "Run Pipeline Batch" from Ribbon.
  • Now run "/sitecore/system/<Data Exchange>/<Tenant >/Pipeline Batches/MarketingLists to xConnect" pipeline.

  • Now go to the List Manager and click on Create button then "Segmented list from all contacts"

  • Enter the List Name and click on Create new segment from the List Segments section.

  • Enter the Segment name and click on the plus icon and Edit the rule.

  • Add "where contact is a member of a specific list from the Dynamics tenant specific" from the Dynamic rule.

  • From a specific link select your tenant and from a specific list select

  • Now all contacts which are related to this marketing list which display in the Contacts section.
